Hi,i would be interested as well,a friend has some pieces,i was thinking 1970's chinese & you see some up on ebay at times but without any makers details.
-
I suspect they are still being made

I have a selection of similar items that I picked up in an antique shop in Crystal Palace a few years ago. One is a fabulous aubergine! It has a paper sticker that says: EXBOR Czech Republic (see photo). Another one with a sticker is also shown below - the writing on the sticker reads: Egermann Czech Republic.

An Exbor aubergine? I am intrigued. ::)
Can we have a photo of the whole thing please Glen?

Here's a quick pic, John - not a good one but it gives you an idea - I'll get a better photo for you asap.

Snapped the aubergine outside!

Mmm, looks good enough to eat. ;D
Thanks Glen.

Beranek Glassworks Skrdlovice also made glass fruit and veg, so is another avenue to check out.
