Hello everyone,
I have managed to purchase this absolutely stunning green massive heavy vase. It depicts a wood and it almost feels like 3D.
If you keep looking at it it is like being in a forest, I believe you can even see some animals.
Anyway I bought the vase from a person in Czech and I was told that he obtained this vase from a glass collector that he died because of age.
Even though I don't know anything about this vase I paid quite a lot of money because simply I could not resist not having it.
The vase is so unbelievably scratched and worn to the bottom it's almost unreal. Never seen one scratched and worn like that before.
I have been trying to find one similar like this and failed.
I'd be happy if any of you could provide any informations about it please. It is of course a wonderful vase and it would be nice to know more about it.
Thank you!
Regards
stulda

You will probably have to wait for someone more knowledgable than I am, but it seems to resemble a #586 Barolac vase (a Czech Company) which was made for quite some time at least up until 1978. Not really ancient...at least in glass terms. Nice vase though. Ken

Ohio, thank you for your informations. I am looking at Barolac vases and it looks like that.
Just to add it measures 10" 3/8 (26 cm).
