Has anyone seen this Strathearn design before? It is similar to the Force 2 design, but that has 1+4 bubbles, whereas this one has 1+8, more like a 'harlequin'. I asked Richard More, but it was new to him.
Diameter 3 1/4 inch / 82 mm; height 2 5/8 inch / 67 mm.

Nope never seen one either, and if Richard More has never seen one then it must be rare/unique!!!
Having said that, I acquired a rare Strathearn P33 with multi-colored ground (with four bubbles and a label) recently and was the underbidder on Ebay on another rare Strathearn a few weeks ago (item 120946466729).
So rare (or unique) does come on the market!! And all that shows that Strathearn had a rather more varied production that one sometimes think.

A nice unusal Strathearn you have there Alan and I would guess it is a one off piece. Dave Moir told me the workers at Strathearn used to make friggers in their lunch breaks and sell them or take them home for family and friends.

Just had a mail from Dave Moir, telling me
Had a look at the weight and it is a Strathearn maybe made at lunchtime but also near the end before it was sold to Stuart Crystal we made a lot of weights of our own ideas. I did not make it but maybe Herbert Dreier made it. Hope this helps.
