Post by: lc on August 08, 2012, 06:19:15 PM
hi everyone from germany.
besides the pieces i've inherited crystalworks glass set (6).
please help me identify this mark etched on a small goblet.
the letters appear to be JH, but i cannot find anything with those letters in a diamond (?) under a crown.
thanks a lot and the best regards, johhan

Try Johann Haviland Crystal, I don't think a real company but an old German pottery name that seems to be in use as a trade name with glass.

Hello - did you ever definitively identify this mark? I have the exact mark on a gold-rimmed glass found yesterday at a market...
Thank you -
Kat

Mark will be owned by a factor who buys in the glass from anywhere.
