I found this in the bargain bin at our local flea market today, I have had a look in my Sklo Union book but can't find it there. Does anyone know what it is and who made it ;D My husband thinks I was mad to buy it but I kind of like it, its so chunky and heavy, unfortunately is is damaged slightly

Possibly Scandi? One of the Muurla Lasi, Meri Lasi, Pukeberg type makers perhaps. I have a piece called Hearth (http://yobunny.org.uk/gallery1/displayimage.php?pid=1013) by Muurla Lasi which yours reminds me of in a way. They have a look of ice about them which yours appears to have too?
