Dear Group, I have a Fazzoletto cased glass vase with horizontal threading on the exterior that I need help to identify. The casing has an outer an inner clear layer with butterscotch yellow and white cloud like interior layers with spots of gold aventurine. The external threading is done in a solid butterscotch yellow. The vase measures 6-1/2" tall, approximately 10-1/2" across at widest at top. The base is clear glass measuring 2-3/4" in diameter and 1/2" tall. The center 1-3/8" of the base is concave the flat ring portion of the vase stands upon shows definite signs of age wear but is not heavily worn. The vase weighs a little over 3 pound 3 ounces but has no markings of any kind.
I would really appreciate any ideas as to a definite country of origin and/or maker. Thank you for your help.
Sincerely, Blake

Sorry, Blake, no good ideas except that it doesn't look overly old despite possible wear-look on the base. I did once have something with a similar base....but was never able to attribute it.

I've seen similar vases bought in from China by some of the charity shops like the British Heart Foundation. It might be one of those.

my first instinct would be to search the Polish glass sites as they have been very fond of handkerchief style ruffled vases and trailing. The base looks ok to me also so I wouldn't instinctively have though Chinese.
