Title: Kralik Banded Epergne 10”
Post by: Mac on August 27, 2012, 09:05:46 AM
I saw this today at a local market and decided it had to come home with me. And although a little over the top, the price was right and the glass was too beautiful to pass up.

You are funny Keith!

Do you not have any local, what we call here, "pickers markets"?

Usually the owners of the "uptown" antique stores come to these markets looking for inventory. So essentially one gets to buy at cost. As a collector, it means one has to arrive bright and early, 5:00 AM, just as the vendors are unpacking to get first choice. It is a nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
