 :)
Any chance of a pic of the marks on the base?
The Planets series dates to the early-mid '70s, if my memory is right.

Hi

I have had Starbase for many years

When I bought it it had CT/PH Starbase and the date 1972  385/500 scratched onto the base.

I knew so little about paperweights that I was going to remove all this scratched rubbish from the base but lucky for me I didn't .

I still have the weight if anyone needs it to fill a gap in their collection.

Roy

I think it was usual for these very early LE pieces to be scratched signed by Colin Terris and the maker, and also 'Caithness'. The ones I have seen are not consistent, in that some also have the name of the piece, and maybe the year, and some do not.

Alan.

 ;D
I think these scratches should add a whole load of value to the weight!

Super thing to have.
