Title: Depression glass; pale blue sugar bowl

Any ideas on the origin of this sugar bowl?

It may be a modern reproduction because it is too "neat" (no wear). Its greatest diameter is nearly 10 cm and it's also nearly 10 cm tall. The ribs divide it into 12 faces/planes. I found it in a charity shop in the UK, yesterday.

Now the question is, is it a sugar bowl or is it a pot from a trinket set??? I suspect the latter at that size... let me go see what I can find in my refs....

Yes, thanks, you'd made me curious and I found the web site (yours, I believe). It looks a bit similar to Davidson's, but I obviously have some more exploring to do.

And, no, I guess it's not depression glass. ;-)  The bottom shows a vague press mark, and the top has a clear seam/joint. I am also starting to understand why it could still be old and have little wear if it is not a sugar bowl, and I guess it's not a sugar bowl after all.
