Title: Monart large blue bubble vase
Post by: flying free on September 12, 2012, 01:05:53 PM
Sorry for the shadows on the picture but it was the closest I could get to match the true colour of the vase.  It's quite an intense lavender/steel blue colour not watery at all.  Kind of iridescent finish which makes it very hard to photograph.
9"tall by 7" at the widest part, bad crack in it round the base and one side but displays beautifully when this is at the back  ;D The bubbles are fab, with large bubbly patches.

(disguises the crack well ;) )

;D yes it looks great, fortunately the crack is on the base and round one side only so I can turn it to the back.  Hopefully that's where it will stay lol.

Your vase is shape code D, size code V1 and colour code 170 or 70A if there is some green in it. A nice piece even with some damage.

Thanks :) I was struggling to work out what colour code it would be - it is completely blue so it would be 170 then.
