Title: Pink trinket set with diamond or cross-hatched decorative panels - ID, please?
Post by: agincourt17 on September 16, 2012, 06:53:06 PM
A pink pressed glass trinket set .

The oval tray has 2 clear side-handles, but the face of the tray is decorated with a large central star, and the outer border decorated with groups of linear rays separated by panels of cross-hatching or small diamonds.

The bodies of the two short candlesticks are decorated with double triangles of small diamonds.

The body of the trinket pot has sides decorated with triangular panels of small diamonds, and the finial on the lid is diamond shaped with a central panel of small diamonds.

IDs, suggestions or comments, please.

Another part set, this time in blue, showing that the lidded pots must have come in 2 sizes (1 large + 2 small for a set).

Then, another pink set – this time with what appears to be a matching oval pin tray; (the ringholder, although apparently the same colour, looks to me like a mismatch). The lid finial on the pot of this pink set differs from that with the set in my first post, (though as the blue set has no pot lids or finials, the correct shape for the lid or finial must remain a matter of conjecture for the time being).

Oval tray measures 33 cm long x 20 cm wide
Candlesticks measure 12 cm tall x 9 cm diameter
Oval pin tray measures 10 cm long x 7 cm wide
Trinket pot measures 9 cm tall x 8 cm diameter

(Permission for the re-use of the images of the blue set on GMB granted by mdmamnma, and of the image of the pink set by corner-cottage2012).

Does anyone have any photos of other sets in this pattern to resolve the form of the correct pot lids, or hopefully the identity of the manufacturer, please?
