Title: 3 glass items for ID
Post by: Scutch10 on September 27, 2012, 06:51:09 PM
I've recently inherited a few items that belonged to my nan but have no idea about them as there is no maker's name on any.

If someone could help identify what they are, who made them, how old they are and give me a very rough idea of their value for insurance purposes I'd really appreciate it.

The first item, the part  trinket set in uranium green pressed glass, was recently identified on the GMB as by VLG, and probably dates from around about the late 1930s.

See  http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,43166.0.html

As to value - GMB members don't normally offer valuations as items are worth basically what someone else is willing to pay,  but I think you can rest assured that it would be very easily covered by normal household contents insurance.
