Post by: iCollect on September 28, 2012, 11:10:38 PM
Can anyone tell me anything about this or what it is? My first though was some kind of Perfume bottle? It is Signed on the bottom S.M.G.

Nice heavy piece of glass measures 13cm high too top of clear glass piece.

You have a perfume bottle by Stephen Morris Glass (note initials!).  Stephen is still working in a factory in Cheltenham, Melbourne.  He has a studio in Northern NSW near Kempsey in his earlier days.  I have a small bottle with the same marking and checked it with him to be sure.  Yours ids a little unusual in that it has no date - but typical as it hass lots of blue in it.

Lovely quick id!
Icollect, could we ask you, pretty please, to post your images directly on to the board?
Images hosted elsewhere have a habit of disappearing. This means the thread is left with a lovely positive id for an anonymous "something".
It's also a real nuisance for folk having to navigate away from the site to see things.
A thumbnail image is normally plenty of information for somebody to know if they need to see it more clearly to help, or if they know nothing about it at all, they can pass on by.
There's loads of help here on posting blow-up-able thumbnail images - and lots of other good advice.  :)
The directions can be different for different programmes you might use, just look for the correct ones for you.

Thanks ahremck For the Id, I appreciate it. Its such a nice piece!

chopin - That link is very helpful thank you for that. The only reason I was using photobucket was that I was not able too re-size my images.
