Very reminiscent of Sea Glasbruk - colour, stripey design and bulging top.

Thanks John, That gives me lead to follow ive since found 2 vases with a pinstripe
from sea glasbruk, fingers crossed

I have a Sea Glasbruk vase, designed by Rune Strand, with spiralling rings on the outersurface made up of glass particles which gives a rough surface texture.
The stripes in your photo look as though they are inside the glass, in which case I think Murano (or maybe Czech) is more likely.

Hi,
A very similar vase was produced by Chribska glassworks: 1999 catalogue (https://picasaweb.google.com/104509467784289017506/CHRIBSkA1999?authkey=Gv1sRgCKjbrouFiseK2gE#5435068743752357698)

Similar, Anik? A little too modest, I think. Well spotted. What convinces me is that the stripes in both pieces aren't marvered in glass, but bubbles created by adding some sodium compound (sodium nitrate?) to the glass, very much a Chribska technique.

This vase has been on the board before and Anik is right.
see link above - it also appeared in the 1986 catalogue.
