Hi, guys!
Glad to be a member. I am a glass collector and have a good collection of French Nouveau and Deco.
Anyway, my Dad is a Keith Murray ceramics collector. But he recently acquired a glass vase he reckons is Keith Murray via Stevens & Williams, but I'm kinda doubtful but hope I'm wrong. It has the classic Keith Murray style of his Wedgwood pieces. But I'm sure it's closer to Davidsion Glass. Unmarked and has a polished pontil on the base.
It is 18.5cm high and the top is 13cm diam. The base is 7.5cm diam.
If there are any experts on this can they lend a hand, that would be great.
Cheers!

It's not Davidson because if it really does have a polished pontil mark (pic is too small to be certain. Individual pics are much better for seeing detail), it's not pressed. Davidson glass was almost exclusively pressed.

My apologies about posting this earlier in the wrong section.
Thanks, Lustrousstone. I've attached the original pics.

Hello,
Been away, so catching up again ;)
This is not Keith Murray - despite some hints at ceramic shapes made by Wedgwood to his designs.
It could be Stevens & Williams, depending on its weight/thickness, etc. Might also be Sandvik (for Orresfors) if it has lighter weight. I am sure that there are other contenders as well.
I would really need to handle this one to access the colour, weight and construction to get a better idea.

I thought so... it was only a gut feeling.
Thanks for your advice, Nigel. The old fella was so sure it was Murray- I don't know what he paid the dealer for it, but he won't be happy.
Better to know for certain than not.
