Title: huge crystal wine glass, any ideas please?

..........apart from fill it with half a bottle of wine, sit back and relax! which I might well be doing this eve  ;D

judging by the wear to the base (there are two discreet rings of shelf wear, one halfway across the base and  the other on the very edge)  it does have a little age - not brand spanking new.

lead crystal, rings like a bell, ground pontil. Ht: 11 inches width across base:  4 inches

I put that standard mcdonalds coke glass in the last pic for an idea of scale

any ideas on country of origin or age please?

Your wine glass is possibly same age as your coke glass.  Within 20 years may be.
