Hi
help please with this vase i think it might be czech but known me i will be wrong. there looks to be marks on the base but i cant make them out.
-
Hi Stew,
Your vase is not Czech, but Italian. I believe it's marked Fidenza Italy on the base, though I am unable to tell you more about the company or designer.
Anik :)

I seem to recall that Anik is correct with this comment - I had one but gave it away some time ago and now forget exactly what is on the base. Oddly, Pamela still shows this in line 24 amongst the 'unknowns' here..... http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/
so was perhaps Fidenza not the maker??

thanks both for pushing me in the right direction here is one with very clear marks

very in late reply:
The vase is a Fidenza Vetraria item.
Serie: Jamaica
first year of catalogue: 1981
then moved to Co.vetro and finally to Bormioli Rocco
