Title: paperweight stands
Post by: donaldf on December 18, 2012, 09:02:23 PM
Hi All. I have the technology and resources within my business to manufacture paperweight stands. I have just started to make stands in the style of the ones Perthshire used to make in the 80s... the circular ones made out of clear plastic. I have some issues to sort out in relation to their manufacture (teething problems), but should be in production in the new year. My first batch are aimed at the miniature weights so the stands will be tailored for a paperweight such as a strathearn miniature.... it will be possible to reduce the risk of this happening:

Later I am also going to make ones, again in the Perthshire style, but to cope with magnum weights.

I anyone is interested please get in touch,

Don

Umm, reduce the chance of what happening, Donald?
There's no damage to the weight, according to the description...

Great weight, great photo, but with heaps of respect,  the poor little weight is drowned in the large 50mm slipper stand.... I am about to make 30mm slipper stands that will lift up little weights like this one and allow them to be seen in all their glory!!!

I thought perhaps it had a light and the weight had cracked in the heat - hence it being "reduced".  ;)

wonderful...I only need one though, but my little paperweight does exactly that, it's vastly irritating.
