Can anyone identify this piece please :).
Thanks
Nicky

Hi Nicky,
Welcome to the board. This is not really my era but somebody will be along soon who can help you. They'll almost certainly ask for a picture of the bottom of the bowl as it tells so much about how it was blown/moulded/manufactured. If you could post a picture of the bottom then I am sure somebody will help you identify it very quickly.

Thank you...
Here is a picture of the bottom....I will post a better picture when I have taken one...thanks for the advise..all taken in :)

This is very close to Josef Inwald, Bohemia ( today Czech Republic) - pattern PICADILLY, around 1924
edited to add: having read Glen Thistlewood's article (http://www.geocities.com/carni_glass_uk_2000/Hortensja_PINWHEEL.html) on this pattern again: probably Sowerby?
Glen is an esteemed member of GMB and hopefully will comment on yours ;)

Pam Thank you for the info,
I will look out for further reference either way....meanwhile more pics :)

Very good photos, Nicky!
The outer finish looks sand-blasted to me, and the base is not polished. Therefore I would rule out Inwald now, and tend to Sowerby...
Glen, please! :)
