Had this for several years now and been unable to identify it - would appreciate any help with finding a maker/country of origin.

My opinion only...I believe a piece like yours is one of those where even a definate location of origin let alone a specific manufacturer is awfully difficult to pin down as style/design/color/pattern could be either U.S. or European.

I agree . But what you can achieve is a period attribution through style.  The ewer is inspired by 19th ct. Grave finds of Etruscan origins after 1848 - and would probably be British as "the cities and cemeteries of Etruria" was published by George Dennis in that year at the British Museum.
