Only 5 inches high but a little cracker IMHO, ;D ;D ;D

I didn't know they did pieces like this, thanks for sharing the pic Keith. Most interesting to see this. :)

;D ;D,thanks Anne, you could look on page 437 of 20th Century British Glass for others in the range, that's presuming you have the book,I'd be surprised if not :o :o ;D ;D

Not yet, Keith. It's on my to get list still! :)

??? These are Stuart Strathearn, not "Stuart Crystal Studio". I've checked p 437, I think it's misleading. I'm not sure something called "Stuart Crystal Studio" even exists.
This Iestyn Davies design comes in pink and blue as well - it is inspired very much by IoWSG Summer Fruits, much as his Stuart Strathearn "Ebony and Black" is inspired by IoWSG Azurene. He trained for a while at IoWSG before going to Stuart Strathearn.

I gave a 10" tall (iirc) cylinder version of one of these as a present to a friend for Christmas. It was turquoises and blues on the whitish background. I bought it off ebay for a very small amount. When it arrived I thought it was gorgeous to be honest. Much nicer than the pic had showed in the listing. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.

It's got a name, this design. I cannot, for the life of me, remember what it is. ::)
