.......more likely some glassmaker in a bottle factory having a play?
This has been sitting unloved in a corner for a little while, came in a mixed lot of paperweights, the camera was out and it caught my eye so here it is for your thoughts. Has me baffled.

Hi Nick

I have seen all sorts of odds and ends of glass that are vaguely paperweight shaped and sized, and I suspect that workers playing around in the factories is the right explanation!

Its not completely round but it's roughly 3 inches diameter an 1 5/8 thick (75mm x 35mm)
