This has me stumped im afraid i originally thought scandinavian but not seen anything like it as yet it isnt signed either unlike most scandi ive had in the past so im open too suggestions please or views. It has a very deep blue colour and its 7" tall weighs 1.8kg a heavy little beast, The base is cut and polished and has a good amount of general wear im thinking 50s 60s in date? The nearest factory pieces ive found were kosta but not exactly the same any ideas???

Reminds me of Milan Metelak's designs for Harrachov Glassworks, sure someone will confirm either way soon. :)

I notice the exact design I was thinking about is actually a slightly different shape...although still could be a Harrachov piece, certainly looks very czech......

I agree with Greg... it does look very much like a Harrachov piece, and the colour is right. There are similar items in the CGR, including the 1958/3-4 edition: here (https://picasaweb.google.com/104509467784289017506/Glasrevue195834?authkey=Gv1sRgCJ7HucyplfzFqwE#5438611121886189634).
