Hi All,
I was thinking this was possibly a Scandinavian piece by Vicke Lindstrand, although haven't been able to find an exact match for this design, attributed to Lindstand.
It does seem to have similarities to other Lindstand pieces such as the one in the link below.

The colour appears smoky grey, however, when holding up it up to the light the colour is actually a light violet/indigo colour. Appears very well made and finished, ground base, with polished concave pontil mark.
Measures 11 inches tall.
All thoughts welcome.
Many thanks,
Greg

Sixten Wennerstrand for Johansfors, 1940-1950. Quite a rare beast...

Thanks for the info Ivo, very much appreciated. :)
Just to muddy the waters slightly, I did just come across the below blog, which shows a picture of the same vase (half way down), albeit a different colour, which mentions an Orup signature..? - appreciate, this isn't always a definitive sign, however, suggestive nevertheless, certainly interesting.

Mine does not have a signature... fwiw

None of the others I have seen online have been signed either.
Thanks again for your help.
