This is my first time to post a topic :) Can any one help and identify this glass jug for me. Thank you

Welcome to the board Dody.
Can we have a photo of the jug too please, it may well help and is always useful later for reference.

Hi John,
Thank you for such a quick reply. I have now put on a full view of the jug. It is approx 11 1/2".

first name looks a bit like Kevin M........? Let's see what the others can come up with Dody.
Can you make the first picture a bit bigger? It is a lovely shaped jug.

Hi, I can't see the signature very well but could it be Karlin Rushbrooke?
-
sorry I am no David Bailey but hope this signature is clearer

the jug is one main colour with what looks like gold foil which also makes the glass look iridescent put in the glass to give a 2 tone effect
-
Not Karlin Rushbrooke - I have an example here to compare. I suspect it may be the same maker as the the following vase, I think they both have silver leaf (rather than gold). Do the signatures match well?

OH WOW, Yes the signature is the same, and the same effect as the vase you have just posted
-
I think yours is dated '78 and mine '77. Perhaps they are from a studio here in Britain but I confess I have done no research to speak off on mine yet. A list of Studio glass makers names to check the signature against might be useful.

I have just ordered a A-Z glass book on ebay which includes Studio glass. Maybe it will help solve the mystery signature.
