Title: Pink satinated cat
Post by: Ivo on March 07, 2013, 03:03:41 PM
There once was a cat - and when I looked again there were two.  The clear satin one with the weird eyes is easy - it is fully labelled and stamped Sèvres. It is 9"= 23 cm.

The pink satinated is more elusive. It is 16 cm = 6.1/4". The bottom is fully polished, no marks - that would be too easy. It also has a surface emulating hair. It is soft pink glass, not neodymium.

Any hint re the pedigree of the pink pussy is welcomed.

In the old thread with the similar cat, you say that one is neodynium, Ivo.  ???

Has the clear cat been breeding or the pink one cloning itself?  ;)
(Cloned cats do not have the same phenotype as their DNA donors.)

Whoops - I forgot all about that discussion. Maybe because we have no more fluorescent tubes in the house since the reconstruction that I completely missed the fact that it does have some Neodymium in it.  So ZBS it is - or Murano.

To be honest, it is not a neodynium pink that I see in the photos, Ivo.
I wouldn't have suspected neodynium at all.
