Title: Mdina or other ?

Hi, just wondering if this bowl is Mdina or some other manufacturer. signed as per images attached and etched 05 and 80A. It has a similar colour to some Mdina items but not sure.5.50 inches dia and 1.50 inches tall.

Yes, this is Mdina - the contemporary way of executing Michael Harris' Earthtones design, (which has beeen in constant production since his time). I think they just call it Earth now. It's also a post-Harris shape. He didn't do "wavy rimed" ones.

Thank you so much Sue, as you say it is similar to earth tones but the colour way has no depth on this type so to speak.

It's rather lost its tones, hasn't it? But is still does have quite nice streaky effects in the brown bits.

A similar thing has happened with Eric Dobson's Tiger - it's lost all its depths and has been renamed "Marble".
