Title: I.D. for a Sklo? vase - ID = VLG Lausitzer of Germany
Post by: Tinker-Taylor on March 21, 2013, 09:16:35 AM
Hello

If anyone can tell me the factory and possibly the designer I would be very grateful.  I am not sure that dimensions are required but do let me know if critical.  Thanks in advance.

Stuart.

Hi Stuart, it's actually not a Sklo Union piece, its by VLG Lausitzer of Germany:

Wayne, that's great!  Thank you very much for taking the time to ID this for me - it never stops being an exciting thing!

All best wishes,
Stuart.

Or it is Rosice 5123 also from 1969. Yet to see a clear method of distinguishing them....

Here is one I am fairly certain to be the Gent vase....

This one is presumed to be the Rosice product.

Interesting that the foot ring on yours differs noticably. What size is yours?

Hi Frank

It's 150mm tall and 100mm across the top.

Stuart.
