Title: Mod Groovy Crystal Aperitif Glasses
Post by: horochar on March 23, 2013, 03:50:20 AM
Wondering if someone can tell me who designed and produced these glasses.  They look like they escaped from the set of Clockwork Orange.  Unsigned, but high quality.
Thanks!

Charles.

Looks like Rosenthal but should be marked?  I have somewhere (tralalalala) one of these with a logo from Linje Aquavit and the Rosenthal Studioline stamp. At the very least they are "inspired"...

Thanks Ivo. Your clue helped me find it (I think)  :) .  Contemporary, but great design.  Not apparently Rosenthal, though.  :(  http://www.rastal.de/html/en/design/design_klassiker_linie_aquavit.html  I'll have to pick up a bottle of Aquavit to see if they work!

Good of you to find it! The crystal one I have was made by Rosenthal back in the 1970s - that is why they put a stamp on it. Apparently these are now produced by Rastal in glass.
