Thought this may be of interest I found this gem, an on line free to read book on Clichy "La Cristallerie de Clichy: Une Prestigieuse Manufacture du XIXe Sičcle" By Roland Dufrenne, Jean Maës, Bernard Maës.
It is in French (luckily I still remember enough from my school days to understand fairly well). Excellent paperweight section starts at page 336

Edit: Just realised that as I found it whilst trying to find information on Pantin the link above opens at page 62 where Pantin is mentioned, just scroll either way.

Hi Nick.
A very useful link, but I don't know whether you noticed that it is not the complete book - it only previews some of the pages. Pages 342, 344, 345, 346, 352, 360, 362, 372, 374, 382, 394, 397 are all missing from the paperweight section (I think it may be a copyright issue). Lots of nice images are there, though!

Hi Alan
Yes I noticed some missing, unfortuneately the link to buy a hard copy gives no links with stock, although I haven't searched further. And yes some very good images.

Hi Nick
I bought mine when it first came out. I can find one on Amazon.co.uk ...for £172.00!

Amazon book prices always make me laugh. People try to sell the newest Poole Pottery book edition for about 8 times its price......

Think I'll pass at £172 :o

The book is listed on eBay. It is a large heavy book and the cost of mailing is almost as much of the book.
For a US buyer, it is $87 for the book and $60 for postage. A little less for the UK. I used to keep this book in stock but no longer do.

I was eagerly awaiting the version of the book translated into English, which was in preparation prior to the initial French publication but sadly, for reasons not known to me, was never produced!
