Title: MCM Glass Mark P with Underlines

A bit embarassed that I can't find this on my own but it's time to swallow my pride and ask the ID of the capital P with 3 underlines maker's mark?  I assume this was designed as a trinket/change/ring holder rather than a ashtray but ...

Probably not a makerś mark but the trademark of the commissioning company. So hunting trademarks might get you there. Guessing the industry/product from the L and drop shape is another path. Paperweight seems likely intention.
