Hello everyone.
Can you please help me ID this wonderful piece of glass.
Thank you.

Well my first guess is that it might be Whitefriars - but others on the board will soon tell you if it is not.
My second possibility is that it is Japanese by a good company like Hineri or Kamei. In my experience the japanese tended to have any "bumps or ridges" very evenly arranged both vertically and horizontally and that seems to be true of your vase. If it has practically zero small bubbles in the glass that also seems to be a trait. I have yet to see a Japanese item engraved in any way. They mainly used paper or foil labels which come off very easily.

Hi Chris
I was thinking it could be Whitefriars but not sure about the colour as all the ones I have seen are ruby red?
This has a two tone colour.
The size of this one is the 12" version.
Is the colour like this because of the size??
Thank you.

Yes agree with Chris , nice colour the gold in the ruby gives it the flame look .

The ruby is formed by reheating, so if it wasn't heated quite enough it stays amber

This should be Dartington ruby (http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=184)
