I found these coasters in a storage unit I bought. I am new at this and could use all the help I can get. Are these cut glass? Pressed? Im thinking age wise mid 60' s early 70' s.

Could we have bigger pics better lit please, and against a plain level background. Dimensions will help too, and a pic of the box might be helpful. If you get stuck with resizing please drop me a line.

The only glass coasters with Art Deco motif and octagonal shape that I know of, were made by Rosenthal. It might be worth looking for reference to this manufacturer.

We see these here a lot - and I mean a lot. These are pressed coasters from the 1930s thru 1950s, probably by Brockwitz or Walther. The favourite wedding present as they were cheap. Most ended in the back of the cabinet or in the attic so there is a set of these on every flea market in Holland - unused. They were not very functional either - most glasses have a footprint larger than the coaster.

Hi again, I have searched Brockwitz and Walther, and don't see any like this in such a nice set of 12 in a lined box.
I am sure you are right Ivo that they are pressed glass and the design certainly does echo the 20's and 30's, so we must keep looking.
Perhaps you could take a couple of clearer pictures on a larger scale russilonious, as Anne suggested, so that we can help you more. Pictures of the box top, base and any internal views without the coasters inside might help as well.
At the moment I can find nothing at all like this, and I am really interested.
