Very heavy square vase with red indentions and clear body.
The height is 9"inches or 23cm.
Would like to know maker and year produced if possible...or any info at all.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

I was thinking "Czech".
Any thoughts?
-
is the top rim cut polished and bevelled? or is it firepolished please?
My instinct would be Czech as well. The shape reminds me of another piece but I can't remember who someone O?
I'll have a look round
edited - it reminds me of this for some reason - the shape I think.

Yes, the top rim is "cut polished and bevelled".

I thought 'Czech' too, a little reminiscent of work by Ladislav Oliva.

I don't think I can help with ID, but I just wanted to add that it's an interesting and beautiful piece. It looks very well made.
