HI, I normally gravitate towards pressed or depression glass but found this in a local thrift store and just had to buy it. I guess the color would be a lime green and the blue and white decoration in part of the glass and not painted ( I do not know the correct term for that). The handles have been applied to the vase and there is no noticeable pontil marks. The rim is thick and slightly uneven and there are no mold lines.
Any help would be appreciated as far as maker, technique, and color scheme.

Here are a couple more pictures. For some reason they did not show up in my original post. Thanks for the welcome and the reply.

Hi, does not glow under a black light. I would have thought so too.

Welcome from me too :)
If it looks as much as if it should glow under UV as this does, but it doesn't, then I think it's really fairly recent, and possibly Chinese. It was only the "uranium-like" appearance that put me off suggesting this in the first place.
This kind of glass is relatively new, isn't it?
Somebody.... who knows more than I do, pretty please confirm or refute this speculation?

Thanks for your replies. Definitely does nt glow under black light so most likely it is new. Oh well, I still think it is lovely and it did not cost much. Thanks Again for all the help.

So you can happily use it to put flowers in and not worry about damaging something horribly valuable. :)
