Post by: pthrelfall on April 27, 2006, 08:37:32 PM
Hi

This weight is from the Knightsbridge Collection ? it came in a very nice box with the same printed on it, is it of any interest or worth, who makes these for Knightsbridge ? It is Cobalt blue with white and is 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

Paul, your Maltese weight appears to be Phoenician Glass, from Malta. They have a web site here: http://www.phoenicianglass.com/

One for the future, I think. It's one of the studios that has it's roots in Mdina, like Mtarfa. I'm sure there are folk squirrelling it away. It doesn't fetch much yet.
