Title: Green pressed glass Tazza By whom?
Post by: Aislingeanbeag on May 15, 2013, 12:37:06 PM
Here is a pressed glass Tazza that was hauled into view from our store.
Style I would say was 1940s perhaps 30s
size 9" dia x 5" high
Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Cheers
Dave

Is anyone able to point me towards anywhere I may be able to research  this and our other pressed pieces?

Dave, browsing my pages is useless in this case as I haven't got this pattern, sorry
shall have another look in the books when back home next week ...
(to assist my brain: Schreiber catalogues?)

So far unable to trace it in my books, I'm afraid  ::)

Meanwhile we've got  Hil's inquiry  (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,52842.0.html) on the same pattern...

Dave, are you in USA?

We are in Arbroath, Scotland
The Tazza was aquired locally in an auction lot so no history.
We kept it, as we do most of our glass, simply because we liked it!
We used to paint and etch glass so we bought a great deal of mixed glass over the years and have retained over 2000 pieces!
cheers
