Heres a wee picture of my latest purchase, its a rare(ish) Monart shape VE height is exactaly 5 1/2 inches, i think its a cracking shape very Deco lines, ;D

What a gorgeous colour too - I love blue glass!

thanks Anne , yeah i like this colourway in Monart , the gold adventurine and deep purple at the top goes really well with the blue ;)

Nice find Gary, I have one though not as nice as your colour scheme and mine has a small annealing crack near the base.
I would think this shape would be more labour intensive due to the top lip, applied foot and the shaping of the bottom half.

lol very nice Gary, is it same size?, i was dreading it arriving thinking its got to have some annealing cracks just because of the shape , but nope, bought it in auction so never seen before bidding, another cheap as chips buy , i have to say this colourway is in my top 10 for Monart, also the shape still has to be rare ish as i aint seen many, infact im not sure ive seen more than 3 or 4 maybe less which would be our two lol, ;D

Yeh it is the same size and got it for £5 a couple of years ago at my local auction house. I have only seen one other and that had annealing cracks in the bottom half, though it had a herringbone finish.
