Greetings- hope I have not posted this twice- seem to have gremlins in the works- would like information on Al Arnits a Washington glass engraver, having just purchased quite a nice vase. My attempts at an internet search seem to bring up the same pictures and people talking about frogs!! So does anyone have any information they would like to share? With thanks Carol

Hi Carol, I think it's Al Arnitz not Arnits, which might help with the searching. :) It's one of those curious script z's.
I found two more pieces by him but nothing else so far:

Dear Anne- you are a star! Such a simple thing as a single letter in a name- he did lovely work and I feel with the lack of information, quite an underrated engraver. Many thanks from a sunny but cool Napier. Carol

A search today for "al arnits glass" showed a few links that are still current with a reference to items "signed by Al Arnits".
A Worthpoint entry from 2011 (http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/smalandshyttan-swedish-glass-vase-139183329) for what is stated as 'Two Smalandshyttan Swedish glass vase hand etch Al Arnits' states ...
Al Arnits is a Washington state artist that engraved and cut beautiful designs on various pieces of blank art glass. ...
