Came across this vase last week. After some initial research texture seems most like Monart/Vastart or Nazeing. Although the form does not seem like them. However I am quite uneducated on this type of english glass. And would appreciate any other leads on possible manufacturers of this type of glass.
The dimensions are:
Height: 12 & 1/4th in.
Base: 3 & 1/4 in.
Mouth (outer edge) 3 & 1/2 in.

I would say not Monart or Vasart (Scottish glass) don't know if it is Nazeing (English glass) or not. A picture of the base would aid in identifying a maker.

Thanks for the quick reply. Here are some photos of the base. I know that V. Nason also made aventurine glass though this piece does not seem to match their style.

Having just looked through Geoff. C. Timberlake's book on Nazeing glass, I can't find either the shape or colourway to match this vase - so I'd suggest most probably not Nazeing.
-
What direction would you suggest I research? Even the broadest of suggestions would be appreciated at this point.

I haven't found an exact match for your vase in terms of colour but it reminds me of those sold as Dale Tiffany in the States such as this one

I think they are made in China.
It might be worth checking them out perhaps?

There is one here in your colours and looks like your vase being sold as Dale Tiffany (you need to scroll quite a way down but it's on there

I just came across this one myself. I definitely think you are on to something.

I think that is it. My initial hunch was that it might be of Asian manufacture. Thanks so much for helping me solve the mystery :)

There is uncertainty as to where all of the Dale Tiffany products were / are manufactured.
There are a couple of other GMB threads (from 2011) that discuss Dale Tiffany art glass items. In one thread, I linked to a YouTube video (uploaded 2010) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8hfswXRyFw) in which the (then - and maybe still current?) Executive Vice President of the Dale Tiffany company said: ... contemporary art glass ... manufactured in our own facility in China ...
The Dale Tiffany company is based in the USA, but at least some of its products are made in China (in their own facility). I guess that means we could move all threads on Dale Tiffany to the USA forum. Or maybe not?
-
They have an address in America - nowhere on their site could I find that they are an American Company. Are they a registered American Company? or are they a company from China who have an office and distribution network in America.
If it's not proven they are an American Company then I don't think these threads should be moved to the USA section.
Interesting (I couldn't think of another polite word for it) that they called themselves Dale Tiffany and now have a line of glass called Favrile.

I don't think these items are marketed as Dale Tiffany in the UK. They generally appear unlabelled

Found this on them, it seems there are several companies that are connected. It seems that Ye H. Chung is at the middle of them.
