Lightweight blue jug looks - to me - quite familiar but I just cannot pinpoint it. Is this the work of Nanny Still or Kaj Franck? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
-
Is it a jug, or a bit of a water pipe? ;)
-
I think they forgot to add the handle ;)

there's nothing quite like this shape in either of the Pina volumes or Geary's 'Scandinavian glass'.............if blown very thinly, then with that colour would make me think of Swedish Gullaskruf - but am sure you'd know if it was theirs.
-
I see why you would think Gullaskruf - and no I wouldn't know if they did. Good pointer though - thank you!
-
Could it be a copy of an old Roman feeding bottle?

I would be very surprised if it was. The thumb and index finger fit nicely around the neck and you can lift the bottle and pour - not suckle as such. I think the purpose would sooner be to add water to the whisky or the absinth....?

Small stock reshuffle led to this grouping of 4 ultralight vases. These may be related - and one of them (the tall amber bottle vase) has been identified as Marsberger. Not saying the rest are as well - but there is a possibility.....

Is there a possibility they are lampwork?
