Title: Strathearn or early Perthshire?
Post by: chriscooper on June 11, 2013, 09:58:26 PM
Normally pretty much recognise a lot of the Strathearn weights could this be an early Perthshire?
Thanks Chris

My guess would be vasart also. Considering I have got it wrong before on ebay selling!!!! and thought it was an early perthshire type.  So if it is vasart you have to ratchet 1 in time and I had to ratchet 2.

Thanks, I was actually going add Vasart to the title but thought I was 'stretching' it a bit :)
Puzzled! what does 'ratchet one in time' mean Roger?

Ratchet 1 means to go back 1, its an old type saying.
Roughly speaking, vasart, strathearn, perthshire are chronologically in order.
           Regards Roger
