Hello Nigel , I recently received a blue walther bear how can I tell if its the bookend or the paper weight , is there a difference? Thanks REX

Hi Rex
Is it frosted blue or clear blue?
If its a bookend it has an extra piece under base that would slot into a black long plinth,if its a paperweight its just flat on the base.

Looks like I have a bookend , a dark cobalt frosted blue ,I got it with a lot of other glass I got from UK , I like the bear I got off you as well , the best display we have is all the different coloured Orlas and blue walther bear lined up next to our table with a downstairs light behind they light up !

You have a lot of luck finding glass over here.
I have all my pink glass displayed together and now I have the pink Haarlem with correct bowl and pink koalas its looking good!
I also have a frosted pink Eisbar mine is a paperweight would love another to make a pair.
I'm after mainly pink and amber items now.
