Title: Modern Decanter & Glasses
Post by: horochar on April 30, 2006, 05:54:12 PM
Can anyone assist me in identifying these pieces?  They're fairly heavy (probably lead crystal).  I'm thinking 1960s/1970s Scandinavian, but maybe American "Elegant" glass (Morgantown?) or something else entirely.  Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Charles.

Very stylish and interesting, Charles.
All I have are some observations
The donut shaped stopper makes me think Scandi but no particular company.
The knob stems and heavy bases of the glasses remind me of Humppila (Finland) although theirs are usually textured.

They're lovely - I really like the colour in particular, very nice.  I'm afraid I can't be any help in IDing them other than to say they look very Scandi to me (and I like 'em!)  :D
