Hi All,
I hope I am allowed to use this opportunity to say a big " thank you" to all the Paperweight Collectors Circle committee. I have just returned from what was a fantastic weekend of talks about the Ysart family and Paul in particular, all capped off by a great exhibition of Ysart glass and paperweights being made by Peter Holmes. The best event yet for me.

A great weekend, so many highlights. For me personally, Fiona Rae (Vincents granddaughter) talk on the Ysart family was one of the highlights. One stories she related, was how her mother went to a London auction house to try and buy the dressing table set that Salvador made for his wife in the 1930's. There was a few collectors bidding on the set, but when they found out who was bidding on it they withdrew and let Mrs Rae win the lot, and now the set is back with the family.

And I would like to apologise to all I may have infected with my coughing etc. ... I had felt much better in the week but by Saturday pm and Sunday am it became quite difficult again.

A scotch whisky mouthwash is the answer. Don't forget to swallow.

...also from Austria, we have spent that very week in Mallorca so we could not attend,
but received the FABULOUS CATALOG (PCC members get the benefit) yesterday.
Well done! Thanks to the committee, the authors and contributors... and the design/layout and
the spiral backspine is simply wonderful...
kind regards Erhard
