Title: Square green textured - fin or german?
Post by: Ivo on June 18, 2013, 08:47:45 AM
green square textured vase 8x8 cm, 19 high (accurately just over three x just over three x just under 7 and-a-half high).

The edge is cut and polished smoothly, so obviously high quality produce.

Am I looking at

[ ] Johansfors

[ ] something else entirely?

I thinks these are Gullaskruf Sweden, "ISI" range >> Link (http://www.tallbacken.net/porslinsbloggen/?p=13402)

I have one which I think is from that range as well, though the colour is a little unusual... >> Link (https://picasaweb.google.com/107330317087089352634/Scandinavian?authkey=Gv1sRgCNy85ueHjuiBXw#5666680634836676994)

Wonderful! The translation says

I found another ISI vase today, the only thing I actually bought, it was too jagged, which I usually avoid, and would have done so by now if it had not been this odd (once) green color. It is unlike anything I've seen in Gullaskruf before, but more of a Reijmyres classic green color. Fun when you can find odd unusual items!

meaning, of course, that this baby was made in a range of odd colours!

The "Isi" range was designed by Lennart Andersson in 1959.

Here is a picture from yesterdays exhibition I had in Gullaskruvs "people's house" for Gullaskruvs social club 30 year anniversary.
