A heavy weight, 3¼" in diameter and almost 3" tall, snapped pontil mark and plenty of wear.
My best guess is OE and Richardsons but is it?

Nobody wants to comment on this weight and my dodgy, inexperienced and somewhat hopeful attribution?

I think its a nice weight but I'm not sure who but you might be right,if you want a reply you need to say its Paul ysart then stand back and you will get replies,,,,,,,,,,I've listed 2 questions on weights under a new name as this id was crock for awhile for some reason and no one replied about them,I kinda don't bother anymore but I still like to look at the postings and the images.

Hi. It is certainly Old English, and I agree that it is probably Richardson - there are Richardson canes in the weight (the second and third rows).

Thank you both for commenting, it is much appreciated here. Paperweights in general are a large black hole in my experience/knowledge and I was excited when I thought I might have found an id for it, the first time I have tracked down a paperweight myself... ::)
