I see them often in clear.   Online they are attributed as Holmegaard 'Kluk Kluk' decanters designed by Jacob Bang in the 1950s.  It would have had a ball stopper, in matching color or possibly in clear.

a decanter shape with a very long history.........  common ish since mid C19.........  and without a label difficult to say from which country.   Try the Board's search, I'm sure there must be some useful information there. :)

The use of this shape predates Michael Bang's work at Holmegaard, the shape has been used for the last hundred and fifty years or so I believe.

This one could be Holmegaard though (scroll down for the green ones): http://www.hardernet.dk/Stemware/Kluk_kluk_karaffel-Holmegaard_1840.htm

How tall is it?

Although I knew there were older pinched decanters in that shape I thought the green was less likely.   Thanks for the added clarifications.
