Looking through some more of the birds in Anita's Murano Zoo the Fratelli Toso swans look like quite a good match: https://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/birds-by-fratelli-toso-1/birds-5

yes, i've found them too. also some of the salviati swans look very similar - i couldn't really find a difference:

There are subtle differences that someone like Anita would be able to help with I am sure. Maybe you could PM her to have a look at yours. I have a very similar one with a Camer sticker on it...

I had asked about one of mine here a year and half back. I thought mine was Barbini at the time and Anita gave some tips on distinguishing the differences. Here's the thread...(and there's another helpful thread linked within it) ... http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?topic=45106.0 (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?topic=45106.0)

many thanks @ cubby01 and rosieposie!

sawi, your swan looks like it was made by Salviati, probably for Camer Glass. It is easy to tell the Barbini swans from the others, but harder to distinguish between the Salviati and Fratelli Toso swans. The FT swans tend to be made less carefully than the Salviati swans. The nice shape of the head on your swan and the style of bubbles says Salviati to me.

The best resource for Murano animals and birds on the net by a mile.
Thank you Anita for providing and maintaining such a wonderful site.

Thank you, Chris. We all have to pat ourselves on the back for the zoo. It is definitely a community effort.
