I am on vacation so I do not have the benefit of my photo setup at home, so I apologize in advance for the images.... Not my normal quality.
Purchased at an Antique show today because AI found it to be nan interesting piece of glass.
Large, standing at about 11 inches. The underside has a nicely polished pontil and also exhibits enough age wear that I think it is a reasonably old piece..... ca 1900 or so.
The decor alternates between horizontal zig zags done in green and white, and a set of 4 vertical lines in green with a white center detail. I have never seen this decor or pattern before. It is well done and appears to need a pretty good glass artist to execute this as well as it was done.
Any help on this one will be greatly appreciated.....
TIA
Craig

This is a polite bump. I thought for sure someone would recognize this unique decor....
I recently saw mention of a decor referred to as Webb Filamentosa or Filomentosa. I am wondering if this is possibly an example of that, if that is even a real decor :-). Obviously I am not well versed in Webb production.... I have suspected it may be English, but have never seen another example. It definitely has age to it....
I am going to take some additional images today and post them. It is a really tough one to Photograph.
Obviously any help appreciated...
